Upon retirement in 2016, George F. Jarrard acquired and moved his former machine shop to Carroll County and established one of the most unique independent R&D prototype development companies in the country.

With 45 years in the business, George F. Jarrard has worked closely with inventors, physicists, chemists, engineers, and business owners to quickly and accurately create the required prototypes to meet their manufacturing goals and needs. He is known for expertly utilizing a variety of raw materials including plastics, steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, and copper to innovatively create and build working prototypes for clients in a variety of industries. His reputation for offering personalized service to clients throughout the process, to maintain quality, reliability, and costs, is acknowledged throughout the industry.

George began his career at Purdue University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Industrial Education with supporting coursework in mechanical engineering from the School of Technology. At the same time, he earned his journeyman card from the East Chicago Apprentice Council, working as a machinist and teaching apprenticeship training at local high schools and junior college as well as Purdue. He has held a variety of leadership positions in R&D over his illustrious career.
